A day with Suzanne
Today I met Suzanne. First we went to a Maori show at a museum in Auckland. The show was really nice, they even showed the haka. It's a dance to frighten their enemies. Then that we just strolled through the museum.
After that we tried to find a new rain jacket and a sleeping bag for me. But unfortunately everything was quite expensive... have to extend my search.
I bought some flour and chock drops at a supermarket to make some pancakes. =) And we ate a Kebab... very tasty!!! I even tried the "national drink" something like j&p... I don't recal exactly.
Well, I wanted to look for the rain jacket tomorrow but it just turned out that I can start at the farm straight away. Maybe I'll give it a try and rush downtown first thing in the morning but I'll have to hurry since I get picked up at 10am.
Better get some sleep now to get everything done tomorrow. Am really tired but had a great day with Suzanne!!!

AnnA the spare-time farmer
Taking part in farmwork for a week sounds really exciting. Probably we have to cope with not hearing from you, but I'm sure you'll have a great time. And also your sit-in seemed to be quiet awesome.
Hope you'll get the right sleeping bag. I just took a quick look at the weather forecast. It seems to happen a smooth weather change towards the end of the week meaning an increasing temperatur up to 19°C. That's kinda nice;)
*hugs*
